When Shopping In Your Own Closet Goes Right…

Hello you all, I have really been going through some personal things, thus the reason for me being Mia. September is my favorite month, could it be because my birthday is this month. In exactly two days I will be celebrating my 51st birthday. I’m beyond excited about that. So I figured it would be a perfect time to drop in. For today’s post, I will be showing you how shopping in your own closet, can bring out a perfect look. 

I’ve had this black and white skater skirt for years, and this is my third time wearing it. When I found this tee with the words “NOPE” all over it some months back, I thought it would look perfect with my skater skirt. In keeping with my black and white theme, I added my black booties to the mix. I purchased these booties maybe three years back, and “YES” they are still in great condition. Could it be I don’t wear my shoes that often, but nonetheless I love it. Can you say comfort at its best… 

Although I loved my overall look, something was missing, so I added a bold red lip with my red tassel earrings. Finish the look with the cutest teal bow bag. The bag is the only thing new in this entire look. Can you believe this beauty came from Target? Let me tell you, the more I shop at Target, the more I’m impress with their fashions. I felt so liberating picking clothes that I already own to complete this look. Do you shop in your own closet? If not, you might surprise yourself with looks revamped. I couldn’t find a similar skirt or tee to share, so guess what I’m sharing some styles I do love.
